Umicore N.V. Olen - Germanium processing plant
Previously known as Union Minière, Umicore N.V. needed cooling towers serve the manufacturing and polishing of the rare metal germanium, used in aerospace applications.
Scope of supply: Turn Key delivery, installation and commissioning of 2 sets super-low-noise cross flow cooling towers 3 MW.
Complete with 8 process pumps and cooling water circulation pumps (stainless steel) & +/- 2000 meter piping in PP.
Including PLC electrical controls and 8 plate heat exchangers with a water treatment system.

Active in the cooling tower industry since 1984, we supply cost-effective quality products to clients all over the world. We started with full production in the Netherlands and in 1992 gradually started importing components from Asia. In 2002 we moved our complete production to Zhongshan, China. Our western engineers, who are responsible for engineering, manufacturing and Total Quality Control, work efficiently together with our local staff.
We supply high quality cooling towers and related products for many industrial and commercial applications in need of reliable forced cooling.
