Sappi Lanaken - Cooling of pulp contaminated water
The South African Pulp and Paper Industry (Sappi) operates a paper mill in eastern Belgium
Wacon supplied a special designed cooling tower for the cooling of pulp contaminated water.
With a fan of 4.5 meter and a gear/motor of 37 kW we cool 300 m3/h pulp water for direct use in their processes.

Active in the cooling tower industry since 1984, we supply cost-effective quality products to clients all over the world. We started with full production in the Netherlands and in 1992 gradually started importing components from Asia. In 2002 we moved our complete production to Zhongshan, China. Our western engineers, who are responsible for engineering, manufacturing and Total Quality Control, work efficiently together with our local staff.
